Project Staff - The following people were behind the creation of the SINE website
 



 
 

Pauline McCormack

Project Director: responsible for the initial and continued funding bids, management and organisation of the SINE project. Recruited the SINE team and Liaised with external bodies such as the steering committee and the New Opportunities Fund. Creator of the Pauline McCormack Collection, and author of the 'Newcastle's Dark Secret' and 'Industrialisation' tutorials.
 

 

Horacio Ayestaran

ICT Manager: responsible for all technical aspects of the project, including the design and implementation of the SINE database and website, and the Church Plans On-Line website. Creator of the Ayestaran Collection.
 

 

Nathaniel Evans

Digitisation Officer: responsible for the management of the digitisation process. Researched and set SINE's metadata standards and trained SINE team members in metadata entry. Creator of the Nat Evans Collection and the 'Aerial Photography and Archaeology: McCord Images' learning journey.
 

 

Marie Harrison

Liaison Officer: collection and archive management and selection; liaison with external organisations and the organisation of exhibitions. Responsible for the bulk of the InterACTIVE Zone's content.
 

 

Carolyn McGregor

Clerical Officer: responsible for project finance and day to day administration.
 

 

Julie King

Clerical Officer: responsible for project finance and day to day administration in the final months of the project.
 

 

Röy Young

Metadata Assistant: responsible for entry of collections data, with particular reference to the Stafford Linsley, John Fleming and Horacio Ayestaran Collections. Used Stafford Linsley's notes to flesh out existing records. Author of the 'Changing Places: The Structural Evolution of Newcastle' learning journey, and the SINE website's help documents.
 

 

Jessica Kemp

Digitisation Assistant: handled the majority of collection digitisation. Assisted with graphic design and initial interim website, and performed some metadata entry.
 

 

Gemma Home-Roberts

Metadata Assistant: responsible for entry of collections data, with particular reference to the Grace McCombie and Robinson Library Special Collections.
 



 
 

Lindsay Allason Jones

 

Director Archaeological Museums, University of Newcastle.
Acting as Educational Consultant.

Glyn Goodrick

Computing Officer, Archaeological Museums, University of Newcastle. Acting as Technical Consultant for image processing.
